Questions that might keep you up at night
From the beginning of a project, several things happen: our analyst breaks down the assumptions of the project so the development team knows exactly what features need to be created and how they should work, the Project Manager organizes the team and plan the schedule of the particular work, and then the whole machine goes into sprint to work. Or rather, in sprints, because we create projects in two-week periods of time, called sprints, in which we plan the tasks we will do, execute them, and at the end we meet and present the results.
During the project we use tools: for communication usually Slack, Google Meet or Teams, for managing the project and project knowledge: Jira and Confluence, for app design: Figma, while we are flexible in this area and the list of tools that we have had experience with by now is very long ;). In terms of technology, it depends on the needs of the project, as each one is different, and each one has slightly different requirements.
Good contact is key, so during the project we will be in regular contact with you, i.e. the person who is responsible for product development (Product Owner). Usually this is the CEO, CTO, marketing manager, etc. On our side, the first line of contact is the Project Manager, who manages the project and has control over all processes. He is the one you can address your questions to, and if necessary, he will arrange a meeting with the development team or redirect to a team member.
In a nutshell, every two weeks, because we work in such cycles (two-week sprints). At the end of each sprint, we arrange a joint meeting (usually online) where we present the results of the work from the last sprint. Very soon we also try to share the app under development through test channels, so that you can also see your developing project in action and provide feedback.
We have heard about an IT project without changes, but we have never seen it 😉 Changes in projects are natural, so when running a project, we use agile methodology, which gives us a flexible approach to the work in progress. Thanks to this, we verify the appearing changes and adjust them to the concept, no matter if it requires changing elements that are just in the plans or those that are already ready.
